First five minutes
The wiki’s recommended first-five-minute route is:
- Redeem active codes first. Use the Codes status page to copy 3-5 cross-reported codes. Switch from PLAY to EDIT on the main menu and paste each code into the upper-right field above the green scroll. The exclamation mark matters.
- Open the in-game command panel with
!cmds. Use the teleport commands to fast-travel to Ember Village and the Green Scroll quest NPCs. - Train on the Ember Village logs. Each rep on a log grants a small amount of XP and Chi. Aim for level ~100 here without spending Spins.
- Pick up Green Scroll quests. Green Scroll quests route the player through Ember Village and the surrounding starter zones. Aim for level ~600-700 from Green Scrolls alone.
Mid-game: Bloodline and Element rolling
Once you are level 200+ and have a stable resource loop:
- Spend your first ~200 Spins on common Bloodlines. Rarity bands from 1/6 to 1/15 are common enough that you can build a workable foundation without burning through the Spin cap.
- Plan a reroll later. Use the Patch-aware Tier Explorer to score Bloodlines by move metrics, mode weight, freshness decay, and confidence gating. Tier S+ Bloodlines (Code-Gaiden, Indra-Akuma, Kamaki-Akuma, Shindai-Akuma, Ashura-Shizen) gate final-stage jutsu at ~400 Bloodline level.
- Stack an Element. Elements are a separate rollable system. Shiver and Surge lead the PvP-tier community tier list; Yin and Yang sit one tier below.
Late-game: leveling to 1000
- Boss farming is the fastest reliable XP. Permanent boss arenas such as Jinshiki, Shindai Rengoku, and Forged Rengoku drop Bloodlines and Tailed Spirits.
- Friday-Sunday gives 2x XP per the weekly bonus rotation. Plan your grind for the weekend.
- Rank up at level 1000. The first rank-up resets level and XP but retains Bloodlines, Elements, abilities, and other major unlocks.
Stat allocation template
The community-tracker median early-stat allocation is 2,000 Chi / 1,500 Ninjutsu / 1,400 HP / 500 Taijutsu. This is community-reported, not an official cap, and is flagged accordingly. Use the PvP Build Planner to validate your own allocation against burst DPS, sustained DPS, and combo-escape safety.
Boss and event farming
Permanent boss arenas and event arenas are the path to your first rank-up:
- Jinshiki: 1/8 Jinshiki God Awakening, 1/15 Jinshiki Bloodline, 1/6 Raion-Gaiden Mode Stage 1, plus Tailed Spirit drops.
- Shindai Rengoku Event: Permanent since 2021-09-25; Shindai Rengoku Companion at 1/5 and Shindai-Rengoku Bloodline at 1/25 (or 1/20 per the current Bloodline page).
- Forged Rengoku Event: Permanent; guaranteed Forged Companion scroll, Forged-Rengoku Bloodline at 1/13, Gezo Mado scroll at 1/13.
